Satrapi, Rugna and Little Spain to participate in the festival’s seminar

For the second year in a row, FIC.UBA will host a series of special talks on cinema. This year, the space dedicated to dialogue and reflection on cinematic practices will feature Marjane Satrapi, Demián Rugna and the Spanish film collective Little Spain.

The seminar aims to explore the connections between the history, present, and future of cinema. The participants were selected for their significance in the current industry and their ability to incorporate classical elements into contemporary expression. Throughout each master class, discussions will focus on how tradition influences the vision of these globally acclaimed filmmakers.

Organized by the University of Buenos Aires' Audiovisual Design Degree, the seminar is free to attend and will consist of master classes. It will take place from Wednesday, October 16 to Saturday, October 19, in the Aula Magna of Pabellón 3 at Ciudad Universitaria, the campus of the School of Architecture, Design, and Urbanism (FADU).
