Audiovisual Design Graduates Competition
It is the first days of work for Luciana, Maia, and Yenifer as caregivers in a nursing home. As trans women, it is their first time holding formal employment; until now, they had only engaged in sex work. Over time, as they share their lives within those secluded hallways, caregivers and residents forge increasingly deep bonds. Gradually, this strange place also becomes a home for them.
Martina Matzkin
Martina Matzkin is a director and screenwriter. Her short El nombre del hijo (2020) won the top prize in the Generation Kplus section at Berlinale. In television, she co-wrote the series Cosa de chicxs (2022) and co-directed the documentary series TV contra las violencias (2023).
Gabriela Uassouf
Gabriela Uassouf is a screenwriter, filmmaker, and producer. She coordinated the production of Terminal Norte (2021) and Camarera de piso (2022), both directed by Lucrecia Martel. She produced the documentary series La mirada de Lestido (2022).
