Spanning Ayrton Senna's years as a Formula One racing driver from 1984 to his untimely death a decade later, the film will explore the life and work of the triple world champion, his physical and spiritual achievements on the track, his quest for perfection and the mythical status he has since attained.

Academy Award, BAFTA & Grammy winning director Asif Kapadia is best known for his trilogy of narratively driven, archive constructed documentaries Senna (2010), Amy (2015), and Diego Maradona (2019). Kapadia’s latest production, 2073 (2024), premiered at Venice Film Festival.
