The University of Buenos Aires and the School of Architecture, Design and Urbanism (FADU), through the Secretariat of Design and Technological Innovation Policies, the Secretariat of Institutional Affairs, Culture and Communication and the Audiovisual Design Degree, announce the call for entries for the third edition of FIC.UBA. Submissions for all competitions are free of charge and will remain open until June 30. Click here to apply.

The call is open to national and international fiction, documentary, and animated feature films completed after July 2024. Submissions are also open for Ibero-American and Argentine short films. As a university-based festival, FIC.UBA gives selection priority to films in which students, graduates, faculty, or staff of national or international universities and audiovisual schools are involved in key creative roles.

To submit a film to FIC.UBA, it is essential to carefully read the festival regulations and then complete the submission form, which can be accessed through the official Festival website.

This third edition — to be held from October 1 to 8 — will feature a program that includes the International Feature Film Competition, the Ibero-American Short Film Competition, and the UBA Short Film Competition.
