Chango, the Light Uncovers portrays a year in the life of Félix “Chango” Monti, a master of cinematography and lighting design, who, approaching 80, continues to work with the same intensity and curiosity as ever. While shooting a comedy directed by Ariel Winograd and, at the same time, designing the lighting for a theatre production with Pompeyo Audivert, the film enters two worlds that are as different as they are revealing of his personality. Between cinema and theatre, we discover the man behind the Master: his certainties and contradictions, his view of a body of work spanning more than five decades and, above all, his deep love of theatre.
