Natalia, Mariela, and Josefina are three inseparable friends living on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, madly in love with Diego, their childhood friend. In the sweltering summer of 2001, after the violent outbreak that led to a deep economic and social crisis, Silvia appears: older, more worldly, and captivating Diego’s attention. Determined to win him back, Natalia seeks the help of her grandmother, Rita, who will introduce her to the realm of spells and black magic.

Laura Casabé
Laura Casabé is a director, screenwriter, and cinematographer. Trained at UBA and specialized in screenwriting at the New York Film Academy (NYFA). A specialist in genre cinema, she directed the features The Good Fairy (2010), Benavídez’s Suitcase (2016), The Returned (awarded at Mar del Plata, Sitges, and Macabro), Family Album (2024), and The Virgin of the Quarry Lake (2025).
