Audiovisual Design Graduates Feature Film Competition
Inspired by true events, this story intertwines a crime thriller and migrant drama as it follows a prosecutor and a Chinese police officer who, through wiretaps in the Cantonese dialect, attempt to dismantle one of the most powerful Chinese mafias controlling the Chinese community in Argentina.
Juan Martín Hsu
Juan Martín Hsu studied Image and Sound Design (FADU-UBA). He participated in several workshops and scholarships such as Taller Proa, Ibermedia program and Valencia Ibertalent. La Salada (2014) is his first feature film. He also directed the short film Mandarin Diamond (2015) and The Moon Represents my Heart (2021), his second feature film.
