Audiovisual Design Graduates Feature Film Competition
Forty years after the Malvinas War, an Argentine filmmaker travels to the islands to portray a community marked by the conflict and military presence. There he meets Mat, an eighth-generation islander and war survivor known for his anti-Argentine stance. An unexpected friendship challenges prejudices and decades of mutual distrust.
Pablo Aparo
Pablo Aparo directed the feature films La gente del río (2012, Best Film at DocsDF and FCL Flanders) and El espanto (2017, Best Film at IDFA, FICGuadalajara, DocsBarcelona, and FICCracovia). Los vencedores, his third documentary, was part of Campus Latino 2021, won Best Project at MiradasDoc DocSur 2024, and was selected for SheffDoc MeetMarket 2025.
