Emma and her teenage granddaughter Alicia live in a house among the mountains overlooking a mirrored lake. Emma instils her passion for dance in Alicia and raises her like a mother, but Alicia is trapped by her controlling upbringing. The unexpected arrival of Bárbara, Alicia’s mother and Emma’s daughter, accompanied by her caregiver, disrupts the routine of their small world.
